The Cliff Club at Snowbird, Utah

Ski Trip

Me and my family have season passes to Snowbird, and have stayed at the Cliff twice in the last two months, the most recent trip was the 30th through the 1st of April.

Both times we were spa level. Really enjoyed our trip overall, the spa is incredible, rooftop pool and hot-tub were clean and no kids is always a plus.

The rooms have been updated in the last few years, overall i really like this hotel as well as the ski locker which makes it super convenient to store everything together without cluttering your room.

I do have a few issues though, first being customer service.

It has REALLY gone down as of late, the individual that checked us in was extremely disinterested and this seemed to be the case with everyone at the desk. I am not one that requires staff to kiss up to me but I felt like an annoyance to this person.

The hotel FEELS like the decade it was built (think 1970’s), dark and uninspired despite attempts at keeping things updated.

The beds were SO uncomfortable, as were the padded things on the bed that were attempting to pass off as pillows, they were small and flimsy. In sum, the good; spa, convenience, updated rooms and hotel interior.

Cons; serious customer service training is needed or perhaps they could be more selective in hiring practices, structurally, the hotel seemed “dank” and dated despite the updates, beds/pillows were uncomfortable.

I will stay here again but this is mainly due to the skiing being so incredible and this hotel being the best option in little cottonwood canyon.
