Marriott’s Maui Ocean Club

Never Again!!

We traded our two bedroom, full Oceanview, Newport Beach timeshare to come to Maui. Our room here has a view of the parking garage! After speaking with other guests who traded, we found out that we all ended up with similar rooms! Needless to say, there are quite a few angry Marriott guests!

Attempting to kindly speak to guest relations about possibly finding another room, ultimately resulted in very rude customer service! We explained our room is dark and dingy and our view is of the cars parked in the parking garage.

We used the Marriott BBQs only to discover they would shoot flames due to all the grease build up! Certainly no one here cares.

When we return to Maui, which we certainly will, our choice is to stay at the Kaanapali Alii! We extended our stay for extra days there. The rooms are remarkable, the service remarkable, the views spectacular, and their barbecue area exceptional!
