Should be renamed Marie Celeste

We didn’t manage to actually stay here AS NO ONE WAS AVAILABLE TO GIVE US A KEY.

There is a big rude sign outside stating that staff will be offended if you ask for access to your lodge before 5PM

The website also states that you must arrive before 8PM

We arrived at 7:50PM to an empty reception building. It had two mobile phone numbers to call. I phoned both with neither answering. Apparently the building had been empty since 5PM – WHAT A WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS !!

So at 4:59PM you are too early and at 5:00pm you are too late.

I had two very tired kids in the car who needed to go to bed but we had nowhere to stay.

I had to book another accommodation, which luckily were absolutely fantastic and accommodating – The Kenmore Club – superb place.

At no point did I receive a reply or apology from Loch Rannoch Highland Club, however Hotels.com did manage to get me a refund.

 

SO – AVOID THIS TIME-WARP AND BOOK A LODGE AT KENMORE INSTEAD !!
