Clowance Estate

First impressions weren’t good due to the amount of work being done and numerous commercial vehicles. I was originally given ‘Patio Home’ Accommodation for my Timeshare ‘point’s exchange but asked to be moved as it was very tired & dated. It had an old fridge, the Patio door was difficult to open/close, the balcony decking dirty & slippery, some wood rotted and the White patio chairs had green on them. We moved to ‘Golf View’ Accommodation. The TV’s and Wifi weren’t working, maintenance had by this time gone home so no one was available to help. After a few hours, we ascertained the First problem was a bad Ariel Connection. TVs worked intermittently but were small and outdated. In the Restaurant, the man was unhelpful and quite rude when asked if they offered a Gluten-free option, so we didn’t go there. Customer Relations meeting was interesting and they explained that all Accommodation & the Restaurant were being refurbished, completion expected by January 2019. On the plus side the Golf View Accommodation/ linen was clean and Beds comfortable, the estate grounds lovely & well kept, but overall we found our stay at Clowance extremely disappointing.
