Many owners of Royal Club at Bonnington Tower timeshare contracts are entitled to, or have already made claims due to high increases in fees including resort maintenance fees, and selling contracts committing owners to paying fees “in perpetuity”
The Royal Club (timeshare) at Bonnington Tower
We recently stayed at Bonnington in a three bedroom apartment on the 32nd floor.
The apartment was spacious, clean and bright. Three bedrooms was an understatement, however, as one of the bedrooms only had a single bed. Hence, five can sleep in bedrooms and others in a sofabed in the livingroom. Not the most convenient for a party of eight.
Anyway, we had a blast and enjoyed our week long stay at the Bonnington.
The kitchen is fine as are the bathrooms and the small balcony. Customer service by the hotel reception was exceptional.
Royal Club representative gave us the introduction to the apartment when we arrived and left their number, yet never answered any of my calls.
They were practically non-excisting during our stay. Location is okey, as metro is short walk away.
Nothing is really near by though.
I would not return based on the location.
Tip. They have a nice Beach Club, called Riva, on Palm Island, that I could recommend. Had a great day there!

Things change
It used to be a good place to stay in Dubai. But things change!
I experienced a big change in service, hospitality and professionalism.
Now the people at the reception, concierge and even more annoying, security are asking your friends, guests and business partners for ID or registration to enter your room!
Bad place for business guests! Avoid this hotel, if possible! Don’t expect a professional business manner!
Terrible Experience, worse hotel ever.
Over rated 5 Star hotel. Made my stay so unpleasant for 21 days.
Service desk needs to be revamped with better customer service.
Restaurant had too many flies, breakfast buffet was a joke, served the same food every day of my 21 days stay.
The best thing was Sumon and Atiku.
They did their best to make stay enjoyable.
Horrible staff with dirty hotel.
The room was dirty on arrival, the staff were unhelpful and unfriendly.
The food was over priced and under flavoured.
Maribeth, the bar staff cheated us out of our money.
The location was in the business district so far away from the local amenities.
DON’T GO TO THIS HOTEL
The swimming pool was broken before we came to the hotel and they decided not to inform us of this. I Think they were hoping that by the time we find out it would be too late for us to do something about it.
Once we complained of this they said they will compensate for this by giving us 2 free nights. given we paid in advance they said we will refund us on check out.
THEY STILL HAVE NOT REFUNDED ME!!!
I emailed them and I called them and every time they seem to find some excuse and say it will be done soon. I honestly given up on it.
Yes its nice looking hotel but believe me you the staff are unprofessional.
Very bad
Do not process Visa from this Hotel. It’s a scam
I discourage people from staying at this hotel. My parents stayed for 4 days during New Years and we asked the hotel to process the Visa.
There is a refundable security deposit of AED 7000 per person.
It’s been 3 weeks after sending all the Visa Exit Stamps.
I’m still yet to receive the deposit back.
Please avoid this hotel at any cost.
