Lion Resorts Action Group
Thank you so much for replying. I was getting worried about it all and have engaged a timeshare solicitor and he believes that they don’t have a case as they are threatening me under Spanish Law and Lion Resorts was registered in Britain and in fact we signed up in Cyprus..
He is holding them off for us at the moment but we may need to engage a specialised time share solicitor for the case. Do you have any paperwork e.g. The original constitution that states that I joined a Vacation Club not a timeshare, it stated that at any time I could walk away by not paying my fees.
Sad to say I have lost my original copy. If you have this and could perhaps email me a copy of it, it could help my case. Thanks so much.

There was an action group that brought lots of info to members attention but few seemed interested. The result is Lion have held an AGM and have passed a resolution that changes members contracts (or at least all those who bought into Cyprus). Whether that resolution is enforceable is another matter.
According to the Constitution members can hold an EGM but you need a certain percentage of members to agree it. How you would get that I do not know as nobody has the addresses of the membership other than the trustee and Lion.
It does seem that Lion’s business partners walked as they believed things were awry!

Have just received a threatening email from ESA & Partners, Ona Groups Lawyers, threatening court action if I don’t pay the last 6 years fees immediately.
Anyone else had the same?
