Annual January visit to La Cala
We come to Costa del Sol, every January to escape the worst of the Canadian winter.
This is our second stay at Las Mimosas, in La Cala, just west of Malaga, this a time for 5 weeks.
We negotiated and booked a 2 bedroom unit when visiting last year for Jan. 2018.
Last year we stayed in a nearby seaside apartment rented from a private owner.
It was Ok but no services.
In our view Las Mimosas offers the best value, lodging, location and services in La Cala.
Gated with parking it is very private and safe. Has private access to the great sea side boardwalk. Units face the beaches and sea within 100yards walk. Superbly manicured grounds with morning and afternoon sun. Walking distance to village square and every service you need.
Full maid service twice a week, unlimited high-speed wifi, full English tv cable, freshly redecorated and updated suites with clothes washer.
Mira and Jake will do anything in their power to look after every detail.

Fabulous resort!
This place is a little gem of and myself, my husband and our 3 – year old had a wonderful week. We hired a car and travelled to Cordoba, Gibraltar and Malaga all made easier by the information in the apartment about travel times and what to see.
The resort itself is ideally placed, the beach is just outside the gates. Parking opposite each apartment and lovely gardens to wander through.
The apartment is well equipped and the washing machine a lifesaver. A little shop five minutes walk under the bridge and a large Lidl 10-15 minutes walk makes keeping stocked up easy.
The staff were so friendly and lovely as well just to add to this fabulous setting.
Would definitely recommend and return!
Great stay
My second visit to Las Mimosas Beach Club.
In a one bedroom apartment this time.
Very comfortable, clean and in an ideal location.
Overlooking the sea and in easy walking distance of the local town.
Buses stop outside for trips to nearby towns or taxis are easily available.
The gardens are beautiful even in January there are flowers blooming.
The management is always eager to please, nothing is too much trouble.

Third time staying at this resort right by the beach.
The grounds are kept immaculate by the gardeners and are great to sit and relax in.
Our ground floor apt had a small garden which we loved. Our apt was very well equipped and had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay.
The complex is very secure and safe.
We will be back next year for our annual “fix” of La Cala!

I have stayed here many times and every time we have had a fantastic time, it is in a great location with fantastic views.
Staff are very helpful and the apartments are very well maintained.
We are going over the new year and I’m sure we will have a great time.

Winter let .fortunate to have a week of sunshine bar one day.
Apartment directly overlooks the sea.
Boardwalk in front of the resort along the coast (6km) means that daily exercise is easy
The apartment was clean and comfortable with additional adequate heating for night time drop in temperatures.
Urbanization increases security.
A7 Road along the coast to other resorts runs behind resort but double glazing reduces traffic noise Stunning views from the balcony.
Within easy reach of local supermarket and cafes and restaurants which stay open in winter
Would highly recommend this resort.
