Extremely Hilly. 6 steep flights of Stairs to pool
The hills on this resort are so steep that cars are not permitted to drive on them. You will not be able to park near your apartment. The resort is Not In Güllük as stated. It is remote difficult to reach and you will need to take a boat to visit Güllük.
A first class resort but "BE WARNED" see my comments below
Horizon Sky is a beautiful and tranquil place and perfect for a family holiday. I would recommend to anyone.
HSBR offers many facilities including. First class accommodation, WiFi, transport on site, Bar & Cafe area, 7 swimming pools, sun beds plus a unique water transfer by boat to and from the town of Güllük.
All of the above facilities are available to owners and their guests where site management fees are fully up to date.
WARNING.
A number of guest on site have rented from individuals who are renting out properties were fees have NOT been paid.
These guests have been refused access to all the above amenities.
The site operates an identification process via wrist bands which are only issued by the site office to owners or their guest when fees are up to date.
If you rent where a property is not up to date no wrist band is issued and access to facilities is denied. This will seriously spoil your holiday.
Most of these properties are advertised on Bookings.com but there are genuine adverts on there too. If the advert doesn’t mention the boat service or you are asked to pay cash on arrival then please be aware.
The best thing to do is check with the site office before handing over any money.
Horizon Sky is a lovely place and I’d 100% recommend it.
JUST DON’T GET CAUGHT OUT
EXCELLENT RESORT
We travelled to Horizon Sky in September 14, on arrival in Gulluk, we had to catch the horizon sky boat from The harbour in Gulluk to Horizon Sky, which was about a 30 min trip.
The crew placed our cases on the boat and looked after their safety until we sailed, this gave us frre time to explore and relax. On arrival at horizon sky, marina staff were waiting to unload the cases onto the vehicles to take us to the apartments.
The apartments are spotless and excellently equipped.
The complex is very clean and spacious, with about 5 pools dotted Round the complex. It is a quiet resort gbere is a small shop across the road for basics and if there is anything you want and he doesn,t have he will get it for you, he will also deliver light snacks to your apartment if you wish.
You do need to travel by boat to reach the restaurants in Gulluk but this is a pleasant journey and should be viewed as part of your holiday.
A word of warning the complex is hilly but is wonderful for a nice quiet and relaxing holiday. Highly recommended.
Nice sunny place but...
The complex seems huge from far away, those apartments were built on a hill. It is furnished with modern furniture and fully equipped.
Also there are 3 swimming pools, each was clean, so our stay in the resort Horizon Sky was comfortable but: There is a daily boat to go to the town, and we used it often, so exotic and lovely!
But.. One night, the driver (Sabir?), completely drunk, started to talk nasty things to my daughter of 19 years old. He wanted her to stay and share wine with him.. Of course, we were scared and ran away in the dark,, with some difficulties to find our place in the middle of the night,, What a nightmare
