Poor Resort - will not recommend this
This resort is too far from the entertainment areas and only offers very amateurish attempts at entertainment.
The table tennis and other games are in poor condition and they do not have enough available. The Club House is really poor.
They have so-called Gold Crown apartments but the resort is 2 star and neither are the apartments anything like what a gold crown should be.
I do not recommend this because you will be disappointed

Lack of signage to the resort made me drive in circles for an hour at night!
- Service very polite.
- Rooms clean
- Resort spacious
- No dishwasher
- No shampoo
- No wifi in rooms
- No sitting area
- Free wifi
- Beach/pool towels for rent 2 € each
- 9 hole Pub dirty tables but friendly service
- Pool bar ok
- Maid service once in the middle of your stay was ok
- Tenerife is fantastic!
With the rental car we checked out as much as could in a week, very easy drive around the island and the parks.
I would not return - This was holiday to forget
The was a holiday to forget, the apartment was dirty, tired something I would expect to see in the 90’s timeshare. poorly maintain and collapsing furniture, light bulbs not working and the freezer broke.
The rep’ didn’t care and could only say take it up with RCI or your agent in writing. Don’t get fooled by the term “Elite” apartment, because there are “Super-elites” and “super super elites”, the latter meaning ones that have been refurbished to a modern standard and clean.
You would think you were in a German resort as 08.00 every morning the owners would troop to the pool side to place their towels in their sun beds in their spot only to return about 10ish and be upset if you had got too close to them.
I would not return.
Don’t believe the photos!
On check-in we were greeted by three receptionists who talked over each other. This may be considered super efficient but I did not know who to listen to so took very little in. At the welcome meeting, the information was a duplicate of the leaflets given to us at check in. We were asked if we were interested in “something that is better than Dial An Exchange” (we had used them to visit the resort) which we were, so went along to the free breakfast the next day to do so. We were shocked when told that what was on offer was for us to “invest” in a week in the resort for £10K. How can this be “better” than DAE? It isn’t the same service!
The photos on their website are all of the elite apartments. It doesn’t tell you that! We were in a standard apartment which was very tired and drab. It had the distinctive smell of smoke despite the information stating that smoking was not allowed within the apartments. The placement of the towel rail in the bathroom was over the bath, so had to move them when showering or else they would get wet, very strange!
On the first night, we went to the onsite restaurant. The food was reasonable but the service was poor. We received 2 main courses at least 5 minutes before the third. When ordering dessert we were told that the lemon and lime cheesecake wasn’t available but strawberry would be served, but when it came to the table it was actually lemon and lime. A fresh fruit salad with clotted cream was also ordered but it came minus the clotted cream.
If you have poor mobility I don’t advise you use the pool as there is a slope on the edge and we saw able-bodied people struggle to get out at times. It is a bit hit or miss what the lifeguards / pool attendants monitor. The information states that inflatables are not allowed. However on numerous occasions, children were playing with large inflatables in the pool, however one occasion I saw a more mature lady being reprimanded for taking a large ring into the pool. Double standards.
Very average resort
Recently exchanged into this resort via RCI for a week-long break with friends. This resort is situated in Amarilla Golf so very easy to access from the airport. Check in experience was OK. We’d been asked to complete a detailed online check-in before we arrived but the front desk had no record despite me getting email confirmation so we had to complete the whole process again. We reserved a 2 bed apartment but were assigned a 3 bed instead.
The first impression of the apartment was the heat. There’s no air conditioning and the power was off so no ceiling fans working either. It was like an oven. I’d hate to think what it would be like in peak summer if it’s this hot inside in October. The apartment was a reasonable size over 2 floors plus roof terrace. Clean but dated. Furniture was well past its best and units in kitchen and bathroom suites were very dated. On our final day, we were assigned a room to shower and change before heading to the airport and this was of a much more modern standard so maybe they are upgrading.
Now, the following comments may only apply to room 727. If you get this room and plan to use the double at the front then ask for a different apartment. This apartment overlooks the road and is opposite a small retail and restaurant unit. It would also appear to be the local skip and recycling centre which was emptied a 5.30am. Very much appreciated! The room is also just above the Rocking Donkey karaoke bar. That place is loud and at a weekend is still belting out slaughter versions of old songs to 1.00am.
Now for the positives. The common areas are clean, well tended and pleasant. The pool is large and clean and was never busy. Plenty of sunbeds but the usual suspects were camping under umbrellas at the crack of dawn to secure strategic spots around the pool. Not too big an issue as plenty of space and no shortage of sunbeds.
There are two bars; The Fusion and Island bar. Both are pleasant and friendly and drinks are really good value with happy hour in the Island bar from 9.00am to 5pm. Two San Miguels for €3 is a bargain! Food in the Fusion on the one time I ate in there (from the specials menu) was absolutely superb. Best meal all week and really good value.
All the staff are friendly and helpful. We didn’t comment about the apartment as it was a couple of nights into the stay before it got really noisy (weekends). The other minor gripe is you are expected to pay for wi-fi and there was a utility charge.
Conclusion – would I go back? Probably not. It’s not a patch on other resorts like Hollywood Mirage or Beverly Hills Heights. We’ve stayed in the Santa Barbara which is very close and I much preferred that. In saying that we have stayed in far worse but do set our standards bar high.
