Owners of The Suites at Beverly Hills Tenerife timeshares often find themselves trapped in infinite contracts with rapidly increasing maintenance fees which ultimately stems from a mis-sold timeshare contract. Over recent years there have been a number of groundbreaking rulings regarding mis-sold timeshares by many timeshare groups and resorts which have resulted in refunds and compensation. Many owners of Beverly Hills Club timeshare contracts are entitled to, or have already made claims because of high increases in fees including maintenance fees and contracts committing owners to paying fees “for timeshare contracts in perpetuity’
Beware Timeshare!!!!
Have just spent a week here and was our second visit.
Last year we had a room tucked away in a corner with no balcony, this year we had a room opposite a site refurbishment!!.
I had emailed some months earlier asking for a pool view with large balcony due to the horribly positioned room last year but to no avail.
When raised with the reception they didn’t even know we had emailed although they had responded to the email.
One member of staff on reception on both occasions was very rude and unhelpful.
We had no help with luggage and the room was quite a walk away.
Not a good place for people with walking difficulties.
Sunbeds not supposed to be reserved but by eight in the morning towels everywhere.
And Timeshare reps pestering the life out of you. Be it around the pool or even over your balcony no regard for people trying to relax on holiday!!!.
Bar and eating area needs improvement not very nice.
Rooms ok but could do with a refurb.
And it stands out if you have a timeshare or from other parts of Europe you get preferential treatment.
Won’t be staying again, when they could change rooms for others!!!!!
Fill out your details below and we’ll get straight back.

awful
We had previously stayed here for 2 weeks when it was timeshare and apart from the hike up the hill we had no complaints. This time we booked through Alpha Rooms for 1 night only, thank goodness. Checked in at about 7.30pm and allocated room B003.
Not sure if we got this room because we checked in late or because we were only in for one night. The room was past the swimming pool and down 3 flights of stone steps. Not too bad going down but a bit of a struggle going up the following morning with 2 heavy suitcases. I did ask for help but it did not arrive.
The room itself appeared to be built partly underground, the only natural light was from the glazed door. No openings in the door or it’s surrounds so we had to rely on the AC for ventilation and this was virtually non-existent. I realise that the AC is on a central timer but when this is the only source of fresh air the room gets very hot and stuffy.
A buffet dinner was available at €15 pp but we gave this a miss so I cannot comment on the quality, but there appeared to be plenty of chips, rice and pasta.
The hotel/resort appeared clean and well maintained, and our previous visit had been good but they really do need to do something about the rooms that appear to be built partially underground.
Not so much fun
The Beverley Hills Suits holiday was disappointing in areas. We have been going there over the years since 1990 and this was our 9th time. The complex itself has always been clean and the staff polite with no change there.
The Suites has now changed from timeshare to a hotel and this is where they have lost the standards.
The food was great however in the morning tables were overrun with salespeople bringing in families to sell holiday packages not staying here and this left guests struggling to get tables.
In terms of entertainment, this was very basic and only lasted for 50 minutes.
By the time you had finished your meal the entertainment was packing up when we were ready to get started. The pools amazingly had a ball ban so no lilo’s balls were allowed. Not much fun for the children at all.
The pool bar was great but not always open due to staff shortages.
The nightclub was closed and most of the entertainment the activity staff had meant going to another hotel.
Then there was the issue of getting a sunbed. People were leaving the towels on from 1am in the morning so it was back to the set alarm days to get beds.
Some people just took who’s they wanted and moved them.
Staff don’t start at the pool until 10am so it was fair game to do what you wanted.
The first lay in I had was when we got home!
There was one occasion as it was a national holiday where 50/60 youths took over the complex with parties until 6am in the morning and shouting from the pools to the balconies upsetting guests.
Nudity in a more provocative way other than just sunbathing and rubbish left everywhere by them.
Staff said don’t worry they will be gone by 4:30pm as there are all off to a rave. NOT good enough.
Everyone was upset and no-one did anything to stop it.
To play tennis cost 10 Euro but they only gave us 1 ball so when that went into someone’s apartment after 10 minutes the game was over and they kept our monies too.
Overall The staff were great in the bars and restaurants and there was certain staff at reception and by the pools that deserve credit but overall the stay was a disappointment and we will no longer go there until we see a change in the reviews.
Being a guest there for over 20 years this is very disappointing for us.
I met my wife there in 1990
Disappointed to have to leave a bad review
Arrived late evening with a tired family.
The apartment was filthy and had not been cleaned, our feet were black from the dirt within minutes of trying to unpack.
No Mattress protectors, Dirty hairy sofa bed mattress, hairs on the toilet and around the sink! Not what I expected.
Apartment dated and shabby.
Went to reception demanding that it was cleaned, no staff available so was I given a dustpan & brush. This was the start of a catalogue of errors, Air Conditioning did not work for 4 days and we were questioned as to whether we knew how to turn it on duh!! Finally, they got an engineer to fix it. Food very mediocre and entertainment equally mediocre.
To be fair, the hotel staff were trying to fix the problems and do their best, the problem is with the management and how they structure their staffing. The snack bar was closed most days by the pool and health spa/sports club closed. No nightclub, nothing. Another big gripe is that the place is swarming with Dodgy Key Concierge sharks looking for fresh new victims to sign up to their scam.
Every morning we could see hapless victims bleary-eyed at breakfast being hard sold to signing up. The hotel said they are powerless to stop it, as the hotel was previously a Silverpoint timeshare (Google it), and still involved (Management).
Overall the staff have their hearts in their jobs, and have poor support,
The infrastructure is weak, and the holidaymakers suffer, they also suffer when Key concierge (Google it) ambush them to signing up to their questionable lifestyle package. Ship them in, fleece them, ship them out policy.
Beware of this dump. It was good - 30 years ago!
I had been to the Beverley Hills Club some years ago and it was good.
I booked for this January (2017). What can I say! What a dump! The aggressive reception staff have to be seen to be believed. Most days they would be arguing and shouting in a little group. No eye contact in case they had to see to you.
I had booked a “Superior” suite and that is what I expected. That wasn’t what I got.
I have seen cleaner sleeping bags.
It is 30 years old now and it looks it.
A very tired apartment indeed – and dirty too!
When I finally got the staffs attention (the usual slanging match was going on). I complained about my room. They said, “no, that is a suite – we have no other rooms”.
I told them no and showed them pictures of the real suite.
They still denied having one!
Eventually, say “No you can’t have it!”. I couldn’t believe it.
The balcony never got the sun at any time of the day.
It is tired and run down but there is no excuse for dirty rooms.
I mean ground in filth and broken glasses left in the cupboards.
Avoid this place like the plague!
Oh, and watch out for the latest scam “Keys – Concierge”. The old timeshare hard sell. They want £13,500 for the pleasure of booking one of their “suites” in the Beverly Hills Heights. Allegedly for £199 a week – till you see its £600 on their website. They will hassle you all week.
Oh, and they were painting the room while we were in it!.
Beautiful apartments, shame about the timeshare sales people...
We have stayed at the Beverly Hills three times, and this summer was sadly our last….. due to the high-pressure timeshare salespeople constantly pestering holidaymakers.
The apartments are lovely, the pools are great, the location excellent (if you don’t mind a steep hill walk home from the town centre).
It was a real shame that the full-on sales pitch this summer left us looking forward to going home.
Wouldn’t touch with a barge pole
Dealing with this company has been deeply unpleasant.
They are rude, aggressive and confrontational.
They are also untruthful about booking- beware as they pretend they do not give refunds.
No way would I deal with them. Be careful!
I didn’t actually travel to this place but asked for my money back after finding out this is a timeshare sales company.
Hideous!!
Beverly Hills Club
A ‘free’ week as a timeshare promotion, and we had to attend a morning or afternoon meeting which we accepted as part of the deal – but still tedious.
Billed as a luxury holiday but our apartment was cramped and hot. Many niggles that made the holiday far less enjoyable than it could have been.
– Air con went off at 2 am…! Not sure why as it was 30 degrees all night. There was a fan in the bedroom but it was very noisy – so 7 sleep disturbed nights.
– Cleaners were very noisy. Shouting across the pool area to each other and pushing into the apartment loudly talking and coughing while we were trying to have breakfast
– Wifi was 24 euros for the week. The reception was bad and non-existent for the first 24hours, no rebate offered. You can get free wifi in bars down the road.
– The room safe was 12 euros – why? Most hotels have free use of in-room safes.
– Tiny bathroom and towels like biscuits
– No information available about the resort, we had to ask about everything.
– Quite a long way from the beach and seafront area, but it seemed quite run down.
