This complex isn’t suitable for any holidaymaker.
It was mainly residential with most of the residents working on Lanzarote. The facilities in the apartment came out of the ark with Noah and were nothing like the pictures in the advert. The reception wasn’t available very often, the pool bar was filthy and the reception wasn’t much better.
The bedding was changed once, the towels not at all. We had to supply our own toilet rolls. We spent as little time as possible in this complex and was totally disgusted by the whole experience.
Run Down
This place is like a run down housing estate
I would not recommend or return
Travel republic should remove it from its books
Out of the way
A little bit out of the main area too much of a walk if you have kids.
The apartments are ex-timeshare and in need of repairs some of them have been sold and are a permanent home for Spanish families.
In fairness had no bother when we were there the apartments and beds were clean for us only somewhere to sleep and we had hired a car
Filthy
Apartment filthy.
Reception unable to offer an alternative.
The kitchen was a health hazard as so much dirt and grease. The grout in the kitchen tiles had come out and the gaps were filled with food and dirt which was a haven for ants.
Oven and fridge rusty.
Large holes in bed sheets. Stains on blankets.
Mould on window sills.
Windows could not be secured shut and there was a 20ft drop to the ground – not suitable to leave young children in the bedrooms unsupervised.
The pool was full of dead flies etc and was not cleaned once in the 10 days we were there. Drums of pool chemicals were exposed in the open.
Pool bar was closed and used as a storeroom for rusty furniture.
All in all a terrible place.
AVOID.
Pool water issues
The pool had a bleach chlorine in it which was burning all the children’s skin which we complained about numerous times, I think the problem was only being resolved as we were departing.
We weren’t allocated a 2 bed apt on our stay but was kindly resolved 2 days after we arrived.
So the manager of the complex gave us a free family ticket to the water park which was very kind of him, for the upheaval that it caused us.
The complex was great for the children i.e you knew they were safe if they wanted to wonder about, great pool bar and a lovely barman called Alan.
The children and ourselves really enjoyed the break. The apartments were very basic but clean enough.
May in the near future return back there as long as the problem to the pool was sorted.
