Club Aquarius – Aquamar

This was our 5th stay at Club Aquarius and although a little tlc would not go amiss, the apartment complex still offers great value for money. The apartments are cleaned 5 times per week, and all the staff are engaging and welcoming.

The location offers superb views across the harbour and across the ocean to Fuerteventura.

Each level from 1 to 5 is set back to allow for panoramic views.

We stayed self catering and the kitchen provides for all your requirements.

There is also an iron/board and hairdryer provided.

There are some excellent restaurants located in and around the harbour providing freshly caught fish produce as well as an assortment of tapas bars.

Plenty of British bars showing all the sports, including any football game you want to watch.

We will be returning in 2012.

I’ve just had a week here with hubby and friends and would definitely go again, clean and fresh room, large apartment with good kitchen facilities, fans on the ceiling in lounge and bedroom. Rooms cleaned 6 days a week. Staff friendly and helpful. Food excellent. We were lucky enough to have apartments overlooking the pool which was very clean and no fighting for sunbeds. No complaints at all, and it was cheap. Lovely location near the harbour with lots of local entertainment.

The first impression was steps and more steps. Reception staff ok, pool area adequate, then came the apartment no. 607 when we eventually found it after climbing 7 flights of steps. To say these rooms are in need of major refurb is an understatement, rotten doors and furniture that had obviously been water damaged at some point, sofa bed in lounge had seen better days and was so uncomfy to sleep on we had to request another mattress next day and we were given a stained mattress which was slightly comfier! Wouldn’t recommend these apartments and the only good thing I can say is we had a stunning view, and the complex is in a good location.
