Dated and dirty
With a complete makeover, this place could be great.
But it hasn’t had one and it isn’t.
The suites are quite large but they are dark and depressing.
The bed was AWFUL. Booked this last minute for a quick one night trip and seriously thought about driving home in the middle of the night.
The carpet was dirty.
The shower stall floor was dirty.
The walls are paper thin.
We could hear conversations on both sides, people knocking on the doors of adjoining rooms.
We stayed in May of 2015. Unit #9 to be exact.
An older lady in guest services was rude and spoke so quietly if she did talk.
Heavens forbid you ask her where something was.
The room key was a pain to get to work.
Couch had popcorn in the cushions.
Our master bathroom had mould in the shower stall. In several places. I did take pictures.
With it being a steam shower they need to focus on keeping it mould free.
I filled out the survey about our stay but of course, they gave me no response back.
Under no circumstances can u use the fireplace in your room during offseason.
It was a rainy weekend when we were there. If you want to use the BBQ grill you must pay to get propane. Not a place we would stay at again.
Disappointed
Would not stay here again until it was updated.
Reception/Staff were not very friendly or helpful.
No activities; pool areas were not maintained pool was dirty; asked to be moved were not very accommodating especially when they were not at full capacity & the reason we know that parking spaces empty; & the majority of people we met were there for one night or maybe three at the most.
Bathrooms were disgusting toilets & sink brand new yet showers were dirty or rusty & shower heads were missing a shower spray told this was to conserve water not sure how that is true when water is just pouring out of a pipe rather than a spray???
I heard Diamond Resorts had purchased this property hope they bring it up to their standards!!!
Good for relaxing...but.....
Stayed here the first week of October for 4 nights with my wife.
We checked in and the gentleman at the front desk gave us room 9..When we opened the door to 9 there was no furniture and there were fans running to dry the carpet…oops! returned back to the desk and the man said: “oh, I know they cleaned the carpet yesterday, I guess they’re not done”. He changed us to upstairs room 12. Room was clean and generically decorated..no Soul. a well-equipped kitchen.big living room, a big bedroom, two small -med baths. Master had a steam shower that was great. AC worked great. Big balcony with a BBQ and a view of Walgreens. Lighting was horrible. ALL the bulbs were ugly compact fluorescent. Doesn’t make for a great experience to hang out on the balcony. The floor really shook when you walked on it.we were glad we were upstairs.
Now, just to be clear, this place has an apartment vibe..not a hotel resort vibe. In fact, I think there are people that reside in the “units” .It is clean and semi-maintained. For instance, the grounds are groomed but there are several twinkle lights in the trees that don’t work. While we were there the grass was dead, that is they were in the process of cutting it down.I assume they do it once a year and it was just our luck that we picked the week. In addition, this meant a fine layer of dead grass on the pools and spas ( i had to skim the pool myself). After I cleaned it the water felt great though.
Nice tennis and Racquetball courts. Played racquetball and it was very hot AC doesn’t work well in there. Overall it was peaceful… like a retirement home. I think we saw about six people the entire time we were there.
No room service or pool service.
They have a restaurant which we didn’t try. We did try to order from their offsite delivery menu but the lady said that they only had a limited (tiny) menu at that time and there was nothing good.
In the end, I’m not unhappy but might try another place next time.
Do You Like Bugs?
Oh my, where do I begin?
Arrived late, did after hours check in, that was okay, what wasn’t ok was when we got to the condo unit, the door was wide open, TOTALLY UNSAFE!!!
The two bedroom unit was loaded with bugs, flys, ants, and ROACHES, one so big you could’ve walked it on a leash.
Told lady in the lobby that I had just seen a huge roach in the unit underneath the kitchen sink, her nonchalant response was “Well, you know it’s really warm, and they come in through the pipes and cracks underneath the door.” Really, duh, I get that, but if they fumigated appropriately then the roaches wouldn’t come in through the pipes, underneath the doors, etc.
Filthy, obviously, housekeeping lazy, unsecured garbage along the curbs, ten people in one unit kind of place.
Fridge door didn’t close shut, had to really push it in hard to close it, water pressure in shower was horrific, couldn’t change it, it felt like I was being pelted with stones, when I asked for extra towels/dish soap you would’ve thought that I was asking for a 15 kt diamond ring.
The unit was cheap, I guess the old saying “you get what you pay for” is definitely true in this scenario!!!
NEVER AGAIN!!!
