So unprofessional!
I’m not sure who to place most of the blame on. Carriage House or Casablanca Express (A Travel/Promotional Company).
Anyhow, my wife and I were contacted about attending a Timeshare on April 7, 2018, at Carriage House. We arrived 10 minutes early only to discover we couldn’t access the building at the reception entrance. Fortunately, a guest and his family had an access card that allowed us to enter the building.
We went to the Front Desk and told the desk clerk why we were there and her reply was “ninth floor.” No, “welcome to Carriage House how may I hep you or no take the elevator and when you get to the ninth floor, make a left and go to the end of the hallway where you’ll sign in.” Just, “ninth floor.”
Upon entering the room, the next woman at the desk stated, “ID and a credit card.” Told us the credit card was simply to make sure it matched out ID. Nothing would be billed. We showed her both and she returned them immediately. She then asked if we had a confirmation document.
I simply showed her the confirmation email that also promised what we were to receive for attending the presentation. She said, she’ll keep it and I insisted she makes a copy since that would be our proof of what was promised in the event there was any question about what was promised at the end of the presentation. She said she would go make a copy.
Instead, she came back with a male employee (looked and talked like a mama’s boy) who started talking a bunch of nonsense about why they needed my email confirmation. We both knew this was hogwash since our name was already on the guest list for 2:00 p.m.
I simply told my wife to stop completing the check-in form and we left. They tried to make us feel as though we needed the free gifts, more then they needed our business. NOT! I’ve been to a few Timeshare presentations before in my lifetime and most of them were very friendly, greeted you as though they appreciated you coming out and they made you feel welcome. We actually already belong to one. Timeshare Liquidation Club.
These people (Carriage House), lacked all of those qualities.
If I receive any future emails or phone calls from this organization inviting us to a presentation, I’ll know exactly what to say.

Broken Promise...
We were invited there today for a timeshare presentation with promises of all kinds of gifts for attending. They kept us there for over 90 minutes, asking every personal question they could think of (which we wouldn’t answer) and never even showed us what the timeshare rooms looked like. When we turned down their offer they gave us an envelope with 2 tickets to a cheap show on the strip and none of the other “gifts” they promised. Lesson learnt!
Great location and price
Stayed here as part of Interval International timeshare certificate so it was only $280 for the week in a studio.
Check in was great and was upgraded to a junior sweet.
Really a very nice large studio with a full kitchen. I had an allergy problem with the remnants of someone smoking in a non smoking room. The staff was great and brought in the ozone machine and it apparently working but had them do it the next day again just to be safe. The location of the resort is across the street from the Miracle Mile shopping center which has the Planet Hollywood Casino. Lots of cheap but good restaurants to eat in. Especially great are the Ocean One, the Oyster Bay, and Pampas Brazilian Grille.
The first two have great breakfasts for under $10. The Strip is only a block away.
For those who don’t know Lax Vegas blocks are long. But if you took a cab to one of the Strip resorts you are dropped off at the rear and have to walk the block to get to the Strip. It would just be they the casino. A
ssuming you can find your way out of th are made. Unlike most timeshares they don’t have daily activities because you are in Vegas. Also no hassles on selling you a timeshare. Not even approached.
The look is not so fancy across the parking lot but quiet. No parking fees and plenty of parking.
Room included a king bed and sofa and chair. Very comfortable. Easy drive to Vons grocery since we had a full kitchen. Under2 miles away. AND daily maid service for towels, trash and making the bed.
Most timeshares don’t do that. Will stay here again
SHAMEFUL SALESMAN!
SHAME ON YOU!
The timeshare salesman needs to be fired.
He harassed us on the corner opposite Marriott’s Grand Chateau.
We politely refused as we already own several Marriotts and are very happy with them. He then offered $100, we refused again but we’re stuck waiting for the cross signal. He then told us to do him “a favour” and relayed the story of the recent shooting and told us it was our “duty as Americans” to give the locals business.
When I told him off and asked him his name, he said “What’s your name?” Very rudely. I told him my name and took out my phone. He started running away like a coward. Sir, 58 people did NOT die so you could use it as an excuse to boost your sales figures. Disgusting! ZERO STARS.
The Worst Hotel I’ve Ever Stayed At
This place was gross. They recently had a remodel and I was hopeful that it would be an enjoyable stay but it was not at all. The happiest part of it was when we checked out two days early and went to another hotel. It was worth giving up two days that we had already paid for (and then go pay for another place) because of how bad it was.
The worst part of it was that the linens (sheets, pillow cases, etc.) caused my wife and I to itch terribly. We asked for new linens, received them (but had to put them on ourselves) and the new linens caused the same itch. It was very disconcerting.
The bathrooms were overly small. If you sat on the toilet you couldn’t fully open the door. There was also mould already showing up despite the room having been re-modelled less than a year ago. Gross and unsanitary.
There isn’t a free breakfast and they’ll also try to trick you into taking a timeshare presentation also. I’d recommend avoiding this place, or if you must go here then at least bring your own sheets and pillowcases so you don’t have to itch either.
Great quiet location
Stayed here a week on a timeshare exchange. We didn’t experience any pressure to attend meetings and everyone was helpful and super friendly.
It was a great location across Harmon from PH and about a block from the strip. It was very quiet without the smoke and noise.
Unlike other timeshares, housekeeping staff came daily and did light maintenance. This was a plus! Never ran out of paper goods!
The facility is a bit older and could use some decor upgrades – carpet, bed linens, etc. But everything was in working order and clean.
I would say not for the young ones going to party down but for someone looking to enjoy the excitement of Vegas and retire in quiet, this is a great spot!
