To be fair the place looks nice, but do your research and it will tell you all you need to know.
Rooms looked nice, but the a/c was leaking in the lift and through the electrics! Shops nearby are overpriced too.
It was just a massive hard sell, buy it NOW, no NOW NOW NOW!!!

Beware the timeshare scam.
We were in Puerto Rico and ambushed by a man with a card saying we could get a free t shirt, which could be collected anytime up the road. He then produces another card that is €250/mobile phone/Apple tablet and “Ooh this is rare special prize!”
At this point other people come round saying how special this is.
Then to claim you have to take a free taxi to the Anfi resort and spend 90 mins listening to what is a timeshare sell.
The jist is you pay €13500 to “buy” your share and have to pay a yearly “maintenance” fee (plus your travel costs) so that you can have one week a year in what is basically a huge Haven style holiday place by the sea. The beach is nice but small and busy, the food places are okish but not cheap and most staff are standoffish and rude.
Some people may like this, we don’t!

Rude rep, Racist Manager
where do I start. So i visited Gran Canaria at another holiday resort on my last day of my holiday we were approached by the anfi beach sales rep who proceeded to tell us how nice it was at Anfi beach. We then explained we had already visited the resort twice and really enjoyed the beach. The beach is open to the public.
Anyway with the lure of a free taxi ride to and from the resort on the condition we looked around the hotel for 30 minutes seemed fair enough.
We arrived meeting our rep who at first seemed pleasant and seemed to be passionate about her job right up until she proceeded to tell us about all the nationality’s she didnt like and refused to show around. My partner and I were horrified by the the phrases used by this so called rep that we decided to call time on the tour 2 hours in might add.
With this she disappeared returning with the manager who proceeded to ask me about my profession once i had told him i work in the same industry he went off again to get his rci timeshare book and asked me to point out at what resort did i work on so i did. With this he told me I was being rude being in the industry i should let the women do her job. why he thought i would want to listen to another word that came from her foul mouth is beyond me.

ANFI MEMBER
It is a nice place to visit but I would never recommend membership, the exchange system they use never has availability so you pay for your maintenance but then can never get anything in exchange, then it times out and they will continue to charge you ever increasing maintenance fees. Vacation club there is awful.

Seawall Noise
Just came back from a week of hell on floor 8 of Gran Anfi. Deafening seawall construction noise from 8am to 8pm. Anfi management are a disgrace as we were not told in advance or offered alternative accommodation when we complained. In one week we had this, refurbishment work on floor 9 and lost the water supply for 5 hours on 2 days
Anfi should be ashamed at treating its guests like this

I called the resort because my daughter is due to stay there from 7th June, and as she has a baby needs non mineral bottled water to make her babies bottles when she arrives late at night!
I was offered a welcome pack which included water, but was told that they couldn’t check if the shop could supply the suitable bottled water.
As this is a family resort and of the highest class, I assumed that the service would be of a high standard.
The employee I spoke to was uncaring and unhelpful to me! He suggested I call another day when a person with a baby of her own might advise me!
Not good enough!!

Rules, rues, rules – not even allowed a small ball in the pool, no lilos anywere. Food mediocre and expensive, only way out is via taxi. Lucky if your card works in your room – 5 card changes in one day. Sales people dont leave you alone to not buy more time share and are always walking people around. local supermarkets twice as expensive. 7 Euro for one malibu and lemonade. Suggested alternative location ALCATRAZ

Do not buy It is a con, Reps lie and you will be robbedThe reps here will lie and rip you off should you be silly enough as we were to buy. They promise you the world and deliver nothing.
We were told that the £15000 we were conned out off for an apartment was “an investment” in reality resale price is approx£1000.
It is a stunning location, shame it is crawling with lying, cheating con artists. Please Please be wary ALL that enter Anfi, don’t be as gullible as we were and get ripped off like we were. Be Safe Don’t Buy
