RUDE RUDE RUDE
We didn’t even stay at this facility. Prior to checking in, the staff was instantly rude when I walked in the door. I had booked my room in March 2017 on booking.com. As I approached the front desk, the lady was very rude and snooty. Her better than you attitude instantly made me feel unwelcomed. She proceeded to tell me $100 deposit was required on a credit card. I told her I was not informed of that. It was never on any of my stuff from Booking.com. I looked. It wasn’t on it. I had the cash to pay for the entire four nights. We don’t do credit cards. We pay cash for everything. Anyways. I left and called booking.com. I went back to the suites at fall creek and she threw the papers at me. I waited 35 minutes for a manager and one never came to talk to me. I left and found a hotel for $200 cheaper and it was nicer. So you did me a favor in the long run. I would never stay here and I would never recommend anyone to stay here. I’ve been in customer service and no matter what your policy is, you never treat a customer that way. Highly disappointed.
Gross! Not happy! Spent the first morning of my vacation cleaning!
So, we stayed in 80-4 of anglers pointe within falls creek. First! I am never ever one to leave a bad review but this was something I couldn’t leave! I kept telling my husband to call and complain but he has yet to do so. As he was the one who booked etc.
I was aware that it was outdated etc. which was fine. The space was fine, it was open and had a beautiful view and the fog on the lake in the morning was very cool to watch. The master bedroom king bed was a rock! And it was like sleeping on the side of a hill. The center was messed up. In every room the blinds had at least 1 missing. The sofa bed either has the head end going down or sitting way up so it’s basically useless.
The shower head in mthe aster bath was like sticking your head under a kitchen faucet! The coffee pot took about 55 minutes to brew one pot of coffee! Everything covered in dust! But that’s all little quirks that I can deal with! What I can NOT deal with is the following! – we walk in and I instantly notice the kitchen floor wasn’t swept! There’s large crumbs everywhere! The rug was hideously filthy! The backsplash was covered in grease! The covered patio area (whatever it’s called) floor was covered in hair and dirt! The floor probably hasn’t been mopped in at least a few months! Then- the 2nd bathroom floor COVERED in hair!!! And the worst of all THERE WERE POO MARKS IN THE TOILET!! And I have pictures to prove all this! That are time stamped and I have a few more than posted. It would only allow 10.
I was so upset! I was staying there for a week with my family and I was just so aggravated! I really feel we should’ve been refunded some!
I spent the first morning sweeping the floors and mopping! And cleaning bathrooms so that my family could be in a clean place! This was just a huge disappointment when I really looked forward to a nice week! I spent the first two days fuming!!!!! Won’t stay again!
I’m pretty sure the condo was wayyyyy cleaner when we all left than when we arrived! And I’ll be contacting the better business bureau I think as well!
Needs upgrades of property and staff
Not only did we not get the first class treatment we’ve come to know as Diamond’s brand, we will never stay at Suites at Fall Creek again. Our stay in the Branson area was very enjoyable except for our accommodations. Suites at Fall Creek is in sore need of upgrades. We found the bath/shower area disgusting. The coffee maker was left dirty and not cleaned prior to our arrival.
When we attended the sales presentation, our representative would ask a question, and then slowly and painstakingly write down our answers, deliberately spelling everything out, writing out each word ever so slowly, and then telling us she was anal. We found ourselves doing more watching her writing than anything else. After an hour and a half into the presentation which they represent to be an hour, and seeing very little progress being made, we finally told her we could not stay past an hour and a half. This treatment demonstrates to us that Diamond does not respect their guests or value their time. This treatment is unacceptable.
Timeshare/Nice place but lot of hidden details
We stayed for 3 nights and to make a long story short. Booked on Expedia then found a cheaper rate on Priceline.
When I tried to cancel the room and rebook through Priceline they were going to charge me $146. Called the corporate Diamond office and they told me if I had called them I could have gotten a room rate of $79 a night.
They wouldn’t do any price matching for us so when we got to the resort they honoured the $79 a night room rate and told us we wouldn’t be charged the $146 since we were still staying with them. The lady even spoke with 2 managers while we stood there and they said we wouldn’t be charged. Get home from vacation and low and behold we were charged.
Called the actual Suites at Fall Creek Resort and they said they couldn’t help us and explained we would have to contact the corporate office. Such a crappy customer service if you ask me they told us we wouldn’t get charged to our faces then change their story and how things work after we pay them and stay for 3 nights.
SCAM TIMESHARE COMPANY!! I should have listened to the reviews on here before booking through this company.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND WE WON’T BE COMING BACK!!
First off, my wife and I have stayed at this resort before.
Her parents are owners in the Diamond Resort which has The Suites at Fall Creek as one of their properties and we were even considering buying into this particular property as well before this weekend, but we never had issues like we experienced during this recent stay…one thing is for sure, we will NOT be returning.
I booked a one-bedroom suite with full kitchen/living room and a jacuzzi tub for a romantic getaway. Our room was on the second floor and upon climbing the steps, we noticed that the siding and windows were covered with dead bugs, mildew, and mould. The inside of the suite appeared to be clean but upon further inspection, we found that not to be the case.
Each suite has a screened in balcony that has sliding glass doors and the first thing we noticed was that there was a 10inch gap between one of the glass panes and the siding on the porch. Upon further inspection, I saw that some of the brackets that are supposed to hold the pane in place were missing. We called the front office and they sent a maintenance man up to fix it…not a big deal.
I also had to kill a couple of spiders that had made a home around the TV, but I just attributed that to the fact that the glass pane was out of place for who knows how long. Afterwards, my wife and I went out to get dinner and returned to our room to eat and have a nice relaxing evening in the jacuzzi tub. My wife went to close the curtains before we sat down to eat and something, which was the size of a large mouse, fell out from the top of them and onto one of the chairs.
Upon further inspection, I found it to be a giant clump of hair that looked like it came from a drain of a tub…needless to say, we lost our appetite. While my wife was calling the front office to let them know of the disgusting wad of hair that we had found, I noticed that the jacuzzi tub looked dirty. I ran my hand on the bottom of it to see if it was just a stain and my fingers turned black.
We told the front office about this too and they said that they would send someone up to clean the tub and that they would have maintenance come up and look at the hair. The person also told us that they would e-mail their manager and that we would receive a call the next morning from him/her regarding our complaints. The maintenance guy did show up and he was pretty disgusted about the hair as well and said that he would take it down to show the front office.
No one ever showed up to clean the tub… We never received a call from the manager the following day and when we went to check out the next day, they tried to get us out of their as fast as they could. We asked to speak to a manager and we spoke to the Front Desk Manager who was apologetic for everything that happened but told us that since we booked through RoomStays and not “Through Him”, there was nothing that he could do to refund us at all on our stay. He said that the most he could offer was a $50 gift card but said that the General Manager of the resort could do more.
He said that he would have the GM call us when they got in for the day. We waited 3 hours and then received a call from the Front Desk Manager again (not the GM) and he said that the GM talked with their Corporate and that they weren’t willing to do anything else for us except offer us the $50 gift card. We told them we would be contacting the Diamond Resort’s Corporate office ourselves and that was about the only time that he actually sounded concerned about the whole matter. He pleaded with us to not contact them and to just take the gift card with which we told him that he could send the gift card out if he wanted to, but we were still calling the Corporate Office.
As I said above, we will NOT be staying at this resort ever again. This place made our nice getaway a total nightmare and I never thought I would be so happy to get home
